gonna give up all that and then offer him 4mil per so he refuses to play lol, his next contract starts at 7.5mil, there so many things wrong with all of this. lol No interest in moving Ghule we have other d prospects to move in that deal he stays put and no way are we playing lecky and armia are over priced contracts to scratch Anderson.

Laine kinda stinks. His QO is 7.5 and he’s worth half that.

That said, he probably takes 2x4, gets to UFA as young as possible, and hopes to land an epic ticket in UFA.

I would be shocked to see him take anything less than 7.5, maybe 6 but that would still be very surprising. I agree with you completely he has not lived up to his potential this past stretch, but had he been producing at that pace we would be talking about a 10-11 mil contract, i think because he hasnt been producing is the only reason theres even the possibility of bridging him in that 7 7.5 range. I think his ego is way too big to take a 2x4 contract.

That’s not a bridge though. That takes him directly to UFA without buying out any UFA years. A bridge would have him as RFA after.

The term is so player friendly.
