Niemi is atrocious and will probably struggle in the AHL. Thing is he only has 1 year left on his deal. Darling gets a similar contract to Talbot, as he should.

Agreed. Not getting Niemi because you want him. Although I have a suspicion that even Mason with some salary retained could get a 2nd rounder from a team looking to get a real solid back up for the playoffs. No need to take on Niemi IMO.

Hagg is alright but you're going to need to add something or swap out cousin's for someone better, Sabres have enough prospects and have their own promising LHD coming up next year. They really need a top line LHD pairing for Risto like 3 weeks ago. If the Sabres are out of the playoff hunt Kane is not getting moved.

Cousins has made huge strides this year and is still young. He will be a perfect middle 6 player. Flyers could add a pick if necessary.

Sabres have a ton of middle 6 prospects, that's not what they are looking for. The Sabres are not shopping Kane, if you want their player you're going to have to meet their needs not the Flyers
