These trades obviously aren't real trades, they are just to get the players that wouldn't be here off the the roster.
This team could still be under the cap with Hamilton, Seguin, and Boychuk on their current deals. (I added Versteeg as a veteran on a cheap deal that would be better than the crap in Boston right now. )
Obviously the real cap issues would start next season when Marchand's extension kicks in and Pastrnak gets a new deal as well.
Overall, the Bruins could be a lot better and still be under the cap, but due to bad management they are where they are.
Wouldn't have Carlo, he was picked with one of the picks received for Boychuk. The Seguin trade turned out to be a bad one. No shock there. Boychuk deal while unpopular at the time is going to work out OK. Carlo and Ryan Lindgren was a good return. Hamilton remains to be seen. Senyshyn, Forsbacka-Karlsson, Lauzon could end up being a great haul or a bust time will tell. But in order to keep and sign all 3 of the individuals others would have had to have been sacrificed and the team would not look the same as it does by simply adding them back.
