Before his injury this season, he had put up two consecutive seasons of 21 goals with just under 60 points. This is combined with more than 75 PIM in that span. We must also remind ourselves that he played for the Detroit Red Wings when he did this. If he were to be integrated into a strong Habs lineup with a plethora of depth scoring, he could truly blossom. Him and Anderson would be a fantastic one-two punch (both figuratively and literally) on the wing. Habs would then sign him an Anderson-esque deal where the Habs bet on the deal being a bargain in its latter years. Habs pay a decently high price but our prospect pool isn't in dire need of new talent if it means the team can add a difference maker.
