I think buch got about a million too much. Also as much as i love danault( most under rated player in the NHL imo) you cant pay 6.5 million to a player who cant score in a flat cap era. Also are we going to pay 3 million for coleman to play on the 4th line? doesn't seem worth it without trading kreider

I like it, but I would give Buchnevich more term to reduce his salary cap hit. I'd also start Nils Lundkvist before Zac Jones.
I can't see Chytil on the 4th line either. If anything Kravtsov gets 4RW with Blackwell at 4C and then Chytil gets a wing on the third line

We more likely move strome as he's got a year left and doesn't offer much defensively. Theres also no huge reason to sign buch to that number as we have kakko and kratsov below him who both looked better towards the later half of the season (and i definitely thought buch looked good).

Additionally i'd rather lock Chytil up for a 4-5 year deal as he's likely our 2c of the future. So you're looking at something like 5m / 5 years which definitely needs room in your cap
