If Shea Weber is out for the season, I thought Montreal would be interested in a minute-sponge with a pretty good shot that he uncorks sometimes.

If Dubas is all in on a crazy forward group (and thinks he can bridge Sandin and Liljegren), that's likely Reilly and Holl gone to make room for Landeskog.

Bruins have a need on LD and Leafs have a LW need. If Debrusk can turn back the clock to 2018, having a pest and netfront presence like that would be great.



I think this makes our team worse in the long-run, I think overpaying for UFA's has been a common Leafs mistake from ages ago, and would like to see their big guns prove themselves. If Matthews-Marner-Tavares-Nylander can't get it done with some nobodies on their left wings, that's simply not good enough.
