Would love to see it but no. That offer for Eichel gets outbid way too easily with one A+ piece.

Why would you get Eichel to put him on the 3rd line? And switch Suter and Parise’s salary. Suter gets more than Parise.

No chanceeee... Bruins do not have the assets to acquire Eichel and it would cost double another team to acquire him

Eichel doesn't happen with McAvoy or Pasta and no way in hell is Boston offering up either of them

I disagree, eichel has requested out of Buffalo. He can be a problem for them, why wouldn’t they take what they can get, and what they’re getting is quite a lot.

It’s just the way the lines fall, you don’t want to break up the chemistry of the first two lines. Imagine the depth, that would be the best top 9 in the NHL.

But are they?

DeBrusk - struggling middle 6 winger
Grz - undersized top 4 d-man
Zboril - 3rd pairing d-man

All the 1st are more than likely mid/late round and while you can find great players in the mid/late 1st (20OA+), it's not common.

I keep coming back to this offer as it does include 5 first round picks DeBrusk, Zboril, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
LHD is the one position that Buffalo has ample young talent.
Of course Dahlin, but only Ristolainen spent more PK time than Bryson and Samuelsson looked ready to play in the NHL.
I would like to think that DeBrusk will bounce back, but Buffalo has former Bruin Bjork as well as Skinner, Olofsson, Girgensons, Ruotsalainen who could all play LW.
If Buffalo made this trade it would give Seattle at least five players from which to choose (all four Bruins and one from the Sabres).
With the Bruins not trading any player who was a significant contributor to last year one can only presume that they will be better next year than they were in 2021, so it would be safe to say the first round draft picks will all be among the last seven (7).
If the Sabres could draft as well as the Bruins I would think those picks would return significant talent.
Of all of the top Bruins (Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, David Pastrnak, David Krejci and Charlie McAvoy) only McAvoy was taken before 15th OA.
On the other hand, I sort of like the idea of getting Zboril and Grzelcyk to allow Bryson and Samuelsson a chance to develop their skills in AHL.
So before I would say yes to this trade, please tell me why DeBrusk and Kase are not playing up to their past performance, because I cannot see the Sabres offering Kase a Qualifying Offer this year nor DeBrusk a QO next year.
To bring my tome to a close, this trade offers Buffalo 2 LHD which is a position of Buffalo strength. two forwards who have not performed up to their QO and three very late first round draft picks.
Give me your best shot at why NYR, ANA, and other teams would not offer more.
