If Nashville rejects the offer done on this armchair there will be no further discussions with Philly and likely no other team for that matter. The counter offer made above is laughable and an easy hangup. Ellis is a 30 year old often injured defenseman that is signed until he's 36. This is a player Nashville either keeps or makes concessions in trading. This is not a trade Nashville is making with a lot of leverage. The fact he is available is the evidence the Nashville organization thinks he may be a damaged player.
