Description
Isles fans...thoughts?

Was surprised I could make it fit with keeping Ladd and Leo but you are cap compliant.

Now the real question is are you happy with this team?

Added Lehtonen for 2 LHD as he had great offensive numbers in the K and hasn't really gotten a shot in the NHL.

My thought process was he could QB the PP and his style would gel with the way Mayfield plays.

Was wondering why I saw the 2 mil created Andy Greene on a lot of NYI post. Thanks.

Yeah, the Blues would likely be interested in something like that.

So you would rather want Wilde rather than a second round pick, interesting. Also would you do Bolduc rather than Wilde.

Rather Send Johnston to the minors and sign McCabe from Buffalo to play on 2nd LHD for 3 million per year

Just because he;s an RD, my first guess is the Blues would prefer Wilde. However, Bolduc plays to his size more and they like that, too. Hard to say.

@Fozziebear6 I'm curious as to your opinion of Bellows. A lot of NYI people I see on here are willing to trade him. A year or two ago, I think he was a shiny prospect, but I think that shine has worn off. Perhaps it is prospect-fatigue, but I personally don't see him as more than a 3rd line player. Armstrong was once interested in Eberle, so that has wings. Like @mokumboi said above, Wilde would be enticing due to his size and being a RHD, but I'd hope Blues scouts sign off on his defense. From the very little of him I've seen and by a lot of what I've read, he's sloppy on defense and gets burned sometimes while always looking to score. That won't go well under Berube. Your proposal is very solid though.

@rja40 Kinda of a change of scenery thing. Hoping he would come in hungry and tap into that talent that made him that shiny prospect. I think we could give him 3rd line minutes and see if he can reclaim what everyone thought he would be.

Didn't do a lot of research on Wilde but did like that he is a big 21 yo RD.

My thinking was get Eberle to add a lil scoring on the 3rd line (this would give Kyrou 2nd line minutes) and 2 young assets. Maybe one of Wilde or Bellows turn into something plus save a lil cap.

I could go for Bellows taking Sanford's minutes. Swap Sanford for a 3rd and see what happens.
