Not saying that McDonough isn't worthy of a first round draft choice. He obviously is, but there's no way anybody will give up a first plus for him in this flat cap environment. You would probably have to throw in some more, say Foote & Barre-Boulet to get a first. Then you possibly could take off the retained salary, possibly.
