Description

I know this has flaws, but it’s just an idea I had on using UFAs to buy a year of time for Rossi and Boldy, if Guerin buys out Parise. Boldly I think is probably ready, but erring on the conservative side here.

Also wanted to take advantage of the Parise buyout year by overspending on Krecji and Hoffman. Hoffman gets a prove it contract that should work out for him playing with Fiala. Krecji probably doesn’t sign here but maybe for the money and a year? Both get replaced next year with Rossi/Boldy when cap tightens.

I personally would, but I’m def in the minority on that. Most wild fans wouldn’t be comfortable swapping in Khovy due to his potential ceiling. I don’t think he’s going to figure it out, but I could be wrong and if he does, he will be very good.

Don't hate it for Detroit, some people will want more.
It fills a need and acquires a pick, if nothing with a higher return (e.g. Tyler Johnson) comes up I would absolutely go for it.

Yeah makes sense. Would def be a backup plan for DET. It’s obviously an incredibly boring move, but easy way to get an extra pick if nothing else materializes.
