Don't think Danault gets more then Erikson Ek, and I hope he takes less for more term but who knows what the open market will be like this summer.

Also don't know about KK, think he takes less on a shorter deal to show what he really is before signing that long term deal.

Managment there will be looking for changes, Kuzy is probably gone for sure, just matter of how much change they are looking for. Also adding picks and prospects is something Washington hasn't done in a while so be interesting to see which direction they go with it.

Why not just sign Martinez, who is just as realistic, a better player, and you don’t need to give up any assets to get him.

Orlov is younger and Martinez likely gets a contract that becomes an albatross in a couple years. I think Martinez is the guy this off season that gets over paid for to long and I don't want the Habs to be the team that has 3 dmen over the age of 33 locked up when trying to sign Suzuki and Caufield long term

Someone will give him 5 M x 6 years I think (hope its not the Habs, personally I think Evans can do what Danault has done). Thats fair I agree that KK takes a shorter deal but if you give Lehkonen 2M I think KK is at least in the same range, I see him getting like 2.25 M x 2 years
