This site is turning into NHL '17

The trade I proposed is not too far off. Bennett is struggling and a change of scenery could help. Chaisson has been a disappointment and hasn't lived up to his hype either. Calgary is a team that has some serious holes to fill including goaltending. Unless they want to trade Monahan or Gaudreau, they need to move these players while they still have value. Both Karlsson and Forsberg could play right now for Calgary and Bjorkstrand could be by next season. Kylington is still a year or two away if ever. They also get a first round pick to help stock the farm.

Stop with the Bennett trades!! He is absolutely not being moved. He's having sophomore slump. Chiasson has not been disappointing. He was not brought in to play top line minutes and has had to play there because of lack of depth. He's a third line guy who is slotted wrong, that's not on him, he is what he is. Nobody expected him to be a 50 point guy.

The Flames have Jon Gillies and Parsons for goaltending prospects, they are fine in that regard. How can you say Forsberg and Karlsson could play right now when neither has established themselves as a regular goalie. They are not better what the Flames currently have in net.

It's not far off value-wise, but it doesn't make sense for the Flames.

I agree with you but... Karlsson is center. Forsberg is the only one who is a goalie.

Kylington is one the best prospects... You might have to throw in another 2nd AND take out the 4th... Oh and btw, a guy signed for 800k hardly warrants any hype..

On the trade, I think it's a steep price for a marginal upgrade. CBJ should look for a more established player.

I have been told a fix for that is coming so trolls can no longer hide.
