If all it took was Pacioretty and a minor leaguer that's the way Vegas would go. Keep Krebs Glass and their 1st and just worry about a, alleged, substance problem with Kuznetsov.

And Doug Hamilton. He can get that, or close enough, and play in the playoffs....

Yamamoto is 22 and will likely cost about $2M for the next 2 years. He's played a year-and-a-half in the NHL, posting 5v5 boxcars of:

I'm not seeing any upside for Edmonton in this deal. If you want to drop Yamamoto from the deal I think Holland would consider it, but even then I don't think he'd pull the trigger unless Reinhart came in about $1M - $1.5M cheaper. Look what Nugent-Hopkins just signed for, there's no way Holland can justify bringing in Reinhart at $7M.
