No chance anaheim does that since they will need to protect two more players. Also, with anaheim in the position that they are in he is not worth that much. Keep in mind tht t is very unrealitic that manson will ever eclipse a 20 point season. I would say at most, give up a second and a fourth. Anaheim is only interested in expansion exempt players and picks

Ducks aren't going to weaken their team, by trading Manson for Carrick at the TDL. After the season the Leafs will likely be in a good position to trade for "excess Dmen" from other teams.
My Leaf protection lists would be JVR (if he isn't traded) Kadri and Brown at forward. Dmen...Reilly, Gardiner and Carrick, plus two newly traded for Dmen. Bozak, Komarov only have one year left on contracts and probably wouldn't be taken by Vegas, and if one of them is.....don't worry.
