Wild say no, & so very easily. Nobody is taking on jake V contract which is worse than Parise. If anything philly pays Minnesota, but wild won't do this

I disagree. Jakub is 5 years younger, and his contract is for less term (2 years vs 3 for Parise). Just last year he had 43 points while Parise had a mere 18.

Phi will have to add a high pick/prospect for SEA to take on salary like that. They wont be doing it for free.

I also dont think Roslovic or Chychrun will be moved.

Taking on Parise makes no sense to me.

I think JVR is the selection, still. Seattle has to hit the cap floor. He had a good season on a bad team, and is still a power play force. He only has 2 more years on his deal. If Seattle isn’t competitive after the first of his remaining two years, they can trade him (with retained salary) to a contender for more picks/prospects. Seattle is going to have plenty of “meh” guys to choose from, but it’ll be better for them in the long run if they’re competitive right off the hop.
