ANA certainly isn't adding a pick here. I think you need one more big piece on the Penguins side. Zucker has both pros and cons for ANA so there really isn't much value there. He offers scoring now, but they need future scoring too. Probably 2022 1st round pick and top offensive prospect (Poulin) makes the most sense without touching a roster forward, besides Zucker.

You aren't getting a top Goalie who's signed long term and a 3rd round pick for Jarry, a B level prospect and Jason Zucker. If these 3 are supposed to be part of the deal, you'll at least have to add your 2022 first and / or Poulin and remove the 3rd round pick from the Ducks. Likely both because the Ducks simply have no reason to trade him if it isn't for an overpayment.

Pettersson is not a good fit for Detroit.

There are much better options in FA that don't cost picks to get and there are cap dump deals available that bring assets in instead of out.

I’m not an idiot like a lot of people on this site, so I won’t say it would cost Jarry, Guentzel, Marino, Poulin, POJ, and a 1st to acquire Gibson, but Jarry, Poulin, a 1st and a 2nd is likely a ballpark of the cost. Just don’t see Gibson to the pens happening. Not at that cost.
