The trade is fair, but not in Vans best interest. They need an NHL ready entry contract for the next few seasons. In addition Podz offers a size game that Van is lacking. Even though the return is more than fair, Van is not likely to make that trade.

Hard pass on VAN deal.

He is not an offensive winger. Not a 1st liner.
