Benning literally said he is looking for size and strength. He wants to build the new D core around Hughes, Schmidt and Rathbone, all 3 being excellent puck moving defensemen. Vancouver don't need another one. And Reilly would not be a good fit as Quinn Hughes will eat most of the PP1 time. He will be stuck in a limited role. You want the Canucks 1st round pick? Trade TJ Brodie and Muzzin to Vancouver for Myers and the 9th overall pick. We will throw in a 2nd as well
