Those moves don’t make any sense for the avs

If compher can be moved for a third, why wouldn’t the avs let Vegas take graves or donskoi they really don’t care if they are selected as they have byram and Newhook taking their spots regardless and trade compher for a third themselves.

Giving a pick to take compher isn’t helpful, just let Seattle take their guy and move on

I take Graves no matter what. Also, there is almost no amount of picks required for me to take Matt Duchene at 8M for 5 more years. They better retain to get him to at least 6M... I strongly dislike that player. You want to build a good culture, he won't help with that at all.

Now for the positive, I think Seattle, no matter their choices are going to have a middle of the pack team that with luck and some smart moves can be a playoff team. Their main problem will be a legitimate No.1 C. I think goaltending will be fine and defence will be acceptable but that offence will need some creative moves to get the right mix. So excited to see what happens!

You don’t want risto, especially to give a pick to get him. Also SEA has a very robust analytics department and half would quit if they acquired him

You could probably draft Miller and trade for risto and come out further ahead.
Don't think Colorado cares who they lose, probably not sending a pick to take a certain player.
I think Detroit protects svechnikov and exposed namestnikov.
Edmonton is definitely paying big, that might be more than necessary but I don't know what the rate is this year.
You might be able to get more for taking Duchene, he was good a few years ago, alot of players seem to fall off in Nashville so might work out.
I think the islanders would go with exposing Leddy over Mayfield, Mayfield is very cheap and younger. Only way I see them wanting to do this is because they have some decent time RD coming up.
I could almost see the flyers exposing vorachek over jvr, they had the same points but with 3 years left on Jake's deal and only 2 on jvr, they might want to try and get out of his contract, but who knows.
I also don't see the kings trading quick yet, doughty wants to try and win again with that core of older vets, wouldn't make him happy I wouldn't think, but don't know how good their relationship is.
All in all looks decent, good amount of thought put into it. You are kind of lacking goalie depth though, could solve that via free agency.
