i agree most i think Penguins should offer is a 3rd.... Fleury had a massive year but his cap hit mixed with Vegas cap issue leaves them with a need to remove a goalie. i think itll be a bad look to trade RL so FLuery is the odd man out.

Why couldnt they sign Fleury for a discounted price after his deal is over.... doesnt look like his age is negatively effecting his play? they would still have Jarry in this case also... though i would probably trade him to have a team eat some of MAF cap or for some draft picks

Vegas doesn't have a ton of leverage with Fleury. I'm not saying they shouldn't get as fair of a trade as possible, but I think Jarry for Fleury straight up is fair, but it's still a problem for the Pens as far as cap space goes. Unless Vegas takes Jarry with either Zucker, Matheson or Pettersson it won't make much sense. Pens are better off trying to pull of a three-way-trade so someone can retain.

MAF has a NTC so i imagine he can help his own case of where he goes...idk what market value for him is but i would offer a 3rd then pay Jarry to a team that needs a goalie to eat like 3m of his contract. Penguins will sell a ton of merchandise and he fits perfectly with the current core.... since he left this team has struggled to have a true #1 by no fault of their own.

I mean, the latter comment has no bearing on anything. The NTC will be no concern at all and the Pens would be on a short list of teams he'd go to.
