Description

He’s having some resurgence during the playoffs. Not points wise really cause he’s playing on the 4th line but he’s looking fast, winning battles, making plays plus Tampa will pay you to take him. If Dubas wants a 1st then he should pull the trigger. Johnson and Mikheyev would look really fast together, he’s a cup winner, he has a great resume when it comes to goal scoring, and can play up and down the lineup. If he plays well then leafs can trade him again and double their pick profits

We've been down that road with Kerfoot on the first line, he's never productive! I'd say either Robertson, Foligno, or Nylander with Matthews or Marner

I'd argue that TyJo is exactly what the Leafs need. He is still a capable 3rd liner and knows what it takes to win a Cup which the Leafs desperately need just to get out of the first round! The problem does lie with his cap hit. Maybe a 3rd team eats some cap and the Leafs don't get a 1st but the value is spread out between the 3rd team and Leafs.

“Does an 11 dollar goal scorer need an 11 million dollar playmaker? Does an 11 million dollar center and an 11 dollar RW need a 5-6 million dollar LW?”. Those knuckleheads must have said they’re the best players in the world and can play with anyone during contract negotiations. I’m done making ones that have expensive signings to play on the top line

This makes no sense for the leafs there are way more cheaper options to replace Kerfoot in free agency no need to have someone make 5 mill playing on the 3rd line since the leafs are cap strapped.
