I like the RNH deal, if the Oilers can add Shattenkirk they might be on the brink of something special. Gotta be careful with that big money, Mcdavid needs to be paid soon. Skinner at 5.75, Lucic at 6 long team, Draisaitl at 5.5, Oshie at 6.3. Eberle at 6, Klefborn at 4.16 long term, Shattenkirk at 6.75(if that low), Sekera at 5.5, Larsson at 4.16, Franson at 3

I'm guessing you only want one more year of McDavid then. Or where will you get the 8 to 10 mil extra you need to sign him.

This illusion of trading for Shattenkirk's rights and magically he signs with Oilers......is unrealistic. Foolish UFA signings just because you got cap room now.

No reason for three wingers making $6 million. At this point, Eberle probably gets traded and the Franson signing never takes place. They can find cheaper options on a short term basis to fill out their defense.
