A skilled player to play with McDavid signed to a 1 yr deal is great.
A LD that can play minutes is good, in case klefbom is out.
I think koski stays with the team and gets possibly moved at the deadline.

I think the oilers should pass on nuge if he wants anything more than a 2 or 3 yr deal. There's better skill out there for the role he plays.

Goalies like ulmark and dreidger haven't shown enough to throw money and term. I could see both of those as the next koski contract.

This team wouldn't upset me. Anyone expecting oilers to sign like 8 prominent UFA's is going to be disappointed. Nobody wants to live in Edmonton. I see more moves at the deadline this year.

Koskinen has 1year @ 4.5 with Caleb Jones and a third, I think equates to that pretty reasonably

Ideally, we would poach players before the expansion draft for cheap. And sign a couple UFA’s, I think it’s kind of Naive to expect Nuge to sign a 2 - 3yr simply because a season where he struggled to finish.
I don’t think you can find a more versatile winger on the UFA market with his skill set. PP, PK contributor that also can play centre.

Betting on a 39yr old goalie to be your starter after an outlier season a tough one.

I don’t think this solves the depth scoring need at all, I personally would be disappointed in a season where we rely on the deadline in the Connor mcdavid era.
