Granlund is a UFA, so you don't have to trade for him. NSH still declines though. No need for Kerfoot. They'd rather use that money to go towards re-signing Granny.

Kerfoot will be gone in the expansion draft, and then Granlund signed in TO to take his place LOL. So, the trade kinda stands, just not in the way it's laid out.
