Description
Schenn is there to babysit Sandin. Cizikas probably won't be that cheap one can dream. Bilyalov is good enough to be given more games than a normal backup. Grundstrom Plays hard and with heart. Hyman is going to be over valued. Should probably add more D to the taxi Squad. Main weakness I see is at Defensive depth and RW. Center is Deep, and I believe in Campbell and the leafs top 4 D. Oh and 1 of the fellas in the Taxi squad is strictly intidimidation, just in case Doughty wants to run his mouth about the leafs being a soft team to be rendered irrelevant in the playoffs.

schenn is the one who needs to be sheltered on that pairing, and why in the world would you give up a 2nd for a bad 4th liner?

Who won the 1st game of the conference finals Tampa or Islanders, with Komarov on the first line and Martin and Buttercup on the others? Who is winning the game between Vegas and Montreal. The value of the pick going into the trade is attributed to the salary Vegas would retain. Reaves would change the entire presence of the team. Who you want to put on the 4th line dig up Richard Panik or dig up Rickard Wallin. Reaves is a presence. Bad 4th liner ... Team structure and make up, you'd want to put some project on the 4th line and see if he will or will not develop with insufficient minutes.
Schenn I just looked more at his numbers I realized his give away ratio is too high and minutes way too low, but it is a must for the Leafs to find some type of roman polak playing a reductive defense first style in case Sandin does not develop past his mistakes before the 2022 post season.

the fact that you think any of the players you mentioned are reasons their teams won is a big part of the issue. they arnt, they are the 20th or worse most important players on their team and not good.
And the leafs had that guy, his name was zach bogosian, he was literally just here.

Its to take half his salary. At 875000 Yes Reaves is worth a Second Goals aren't everything. Reaves played a big part in wearing down Colorado's skill in the last series. Its not the number of his hits but how hard he hits you. You think every line should have a playmaker and two scorers like EA line Chemistry "Mocking laughter" How bout you watch a shift Reaves plays you dope You probably think Im some kind of Don Cherry minion well maybe I am, because guess what he played hard, for peanuts for 20 years in the minors. Do you have any idea how much heart, how much love for the game and how much spirit you gotta have for the thrill of the win. ..... You don't You don't know a single sliver of how hard the playoffs push the players involved and Id rather have the biggest pusher to snap the will of the other teams skill and make them loose their grip just that perfect amount to lower their shooting percentage just that perfect amount to push hard enough for a deep run

Why is Komarov playing on the first line and has found chemistry with Brazal . Who is your choice for a 4th liner tell me. I want to know. Who do you think ? I agree Bogosian is a much better alternative to schenn

reaves has averaged less than 10 mins a game this playoffs, he did not in fact play a big part in anything for them this post season, in fact he is 2nd last on the entire team in average ice time.
on his best day he's a mediocre 4th liner.

komarov doesnt have chemistry with anyone, no matter what line he plays on. And if im building a 4th line, im using actual good defensive players like Engvall and Brooks and spezza because he can score at a high end 3rd liner pace from down there. You know, good hockey players who dont bleed chances against and can play on special teams.
