Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Ottawa is not going to win a cup so they might as well not waste roster spots on "character veterans" and let the young guys develop some character of their own. At the trade deadline if they don't look good trade a few away for future picks. Gotta let the late round guys have a chance at the NHL and if they become stars like Stone pay them what they're worth and don't trade them away.

Unless your goal is to guarantee a top 10 pick in 2022, we're going to need some skilled veterans sprinkled into this line up.
NO ONE IS PAYING US FOR ZAITSEV and there is zero reason to sign Amadio. I'd much rather play Watson or any number of call-ups from Belleville.

I believe the Penguins would decline. They need to start stocking quality, not quantity especially with the lack of high picks we've had over the years. In 2023 there's a good chance we'll have better draft position.
