Kinda over the Leafs thinking they need to add old tough guys to guide/protect the stars. They need scoring depth and better adjustments from coaching when things aren’t working.

The Rielly/Konecney trade gives the leafs a top line guy to replace Hyman who is signed for a few years. Rielly helps fill in a position for the Flyers who are losing a couple defensemen to free agency. Don’t know if it would cost more or less for the leafs because Konecney is signed for longer term and Rielly isn’t, so any suggestions to make it work would be welcomed.

Kerfoot is leaving in expansion, and I think the Leafs get more value trading him than Holl would, so exposing Holl and trading Kerfoot seems like the better move.

Pitlick/Engvall trades free up cap space and add to draft picks.

Losing Rielly leaves the Leafs without a lot of reliable defensive scoring. Not sure if Sandin is ready for larger role, so Martinez gives the Leafs immediate answer and Sandin more time to develop in a lesser role.

Signing Bernier is just pretty funny... but he also had great numbers with a brutal Red Wings team, so why not take a shot with a backup. If he’s too much $, then can look elsewhere.

Guys like Leivo and Soderberg are filler guys who have potential to put up points but will cost less money. McGinn I think could be a good utility piece to move up and down the lineup if needed.

I’m no expert when it comes to fixing the Leafs, that’s why I’m on ArmChair and not doing the real thing! So take everything with a grain of salt.
