Yeah he’s a fine physical bottom 4 D. The sharks just desperately need cap room for a goalie and 3C. Would fit good with how NYI play.

His best play was with Brent Burns. He covered up well for the high flying action and brought the hits.

NYI is definitely going to need defense in the off-season. We're likely to lose one of Leddy or Mayfield, but even if we don't, we'll need to replace Andy Greene. Sebastian Aho is not getting regular minutes. Although, it seems as though the organization loves Robin Salo and Samuel Bolduc, so it's possible one of them can come in, but I wouldn't like our pairings if that's what happens.



Simek sounds like a good fit for Dobson then. With Greene retiring, Dobson will need a new partner. Or he can play with Mayfield in a shut-down role. Depends on who we lose between Leddy and Mayfield.
