They are not trading marner for another superstar, they would only trade him if they really feel they need to spread more cap space to their third line, also sandin will not play off side and no reason not to put liljegren on the third line

I’d play Jack at centre and move J.T to the wing.
This is the only Marner that works for both teams.

Not enough for Jack

1- not enough for Eichel

2- if we can’t win with Eichel, then Marner isn’t gonna be the missing piece either. We’ll be rebuilding

3- even if u did make a MUCH better offer, it’s still EXTREMELY UNLIKELY we’d consider moving Jack to a rival like u guys
