At this point if Dallas doesn’t get a better package we’d accept.

I'm super curious, why is Dobby's stock low these days? He's a great goalie

Rangers say no. Even if Merkley figures his **** out, he's an RHD, which we have established NHLers w/ Fox and Trouba already at, and then better prospects in Lundkvist and Schneider already in the pipeline.

Bishop has a NMC so he can’t be moved, so it’s between Oettinger and Dobby. Oettinger is about 10 years younger, 3 million cheeper and he had better numbers this year, he’s the future of our goaltending core. Dobby is just the odd man out in this situation.

I thought I heard somewhere that Bishop's continued injured status rendered him exempt. Sounds like that's not the case.

Merkley doesn't need to do that 🙄

He's just a developing prospect

Skilled gentle players are treated so harshly

Odd to see Jones retained require not much to unload but Parise retained needing so much apparently I don't quite get the disparity there

Especially given both teams situations

Jones is so bad he's not even worth lg minimum

Because Jones would likely return to great form on a team with excellent defense like NSH. He'd also be in a backup role, which is where he performs best. And, if he doesn't work out, he's way cheaper to buyout.

Parise has 4 years left on his contract after this szn ends, which means if he were to be bought out it would be for 50% of the full value for eight (8!) years. Yikes! MIN has an extra 1st this year, so it's practically a no-lose situation for them if they have a willing trade partner.

EDIT: I just checked out Parise's buyout schedule and it's even more brutal than I first thought! 2.3M, 6.7M, 7M, 7M, then 833k for the rest of the term. All those big numbers occurring during the flat cap era! Oof McGoof!

I think you are also forgetting parise, wild player has also made it clear he's only waiving for islanders; or contenders No disrespect to Montreal, but they aren't contenders, & this is a unique year

I'm not. This is a fantasy roster, and Cap Friendly AGM is just a RPG. So like all RPGs the narrative includes convincing him to waive following a nice discussion with DW.

Do you have a source for this? Or is there any other players that are affected like this?
