Reinhart is not underrated

Ryan Strome
Sean Monohan (only because after a cold season people are treating him like he's garbage)
Shea Theodore (but he may finally be getting the love)
Devon Toews
Samuel Girard
Jacob Chycrun
Antii Raanta
Hampus Lindholm
Mark Scheifele (he gets love but not as much as he deserves. Hear so much more about Connor and Ehlers who are great but he's their best forward by a decent chunk)

Brian Rust is very underrated.

Tbh, I'd put guys like Ullmark (legitimately bad goalie), Ferraro and Hronek (below replacement level play the last 2 seasons), and Lindgren (primarily carried by Fox) and even Goodrow (not really more than a 4th liner who gives most of his defensive value away offensively) closer to overrated on here than underrated.

Bjorkstrand and Buchnevich are 2 of the better players in the entire league and yeah are criminally underrated on here.

If you need more: Tatar, Beauvillier, Jared McCann, Sanheim, Kubalik don't get enough love around these parts.

Ullmark literally has a winning record on the SABRES but ok

Tatar isn't very good. An average 2nd liner at best.

Sanheim has literally be awful this season, we demolished him TWICE in a span of a week

Yeah that's kinda what we mean when we say he's underrated on here: Tatar has been a top 40 F in the league over the last 2 seasons by most value metrics. And similarly Sanheim has been a top 30 Dman.

It's kinda crazy when you have the disparities between what you've vocalized (which echoes some of the sentiment on here) and reality.

Ehlers is better IMO, but Scheifele is for sure better than Connor

Ehlers is tied for 69th with 201 pts. He's tied with Couture and just behind Barrie and Dadonov and just ahead of Hertl and Horvat

For goals:
Scheifele is 19th with 111, right behind Laine and Kucherov and right ahead of Rantanen and Barkov

Ehlers is closer to Scheifele but still behind with 96 making a 3 way tie for 37th with William Karlsson and Malkin, just behind Gaudreau, Monahan and Tkachuk and right ahead PAccioretti, Stone, and Kessel.

Centre is both a more important position and more difficult position.

It also holds true in playoffs

Ehlers is tied for 147th in PPG and 144th in GPG

Scheifele is quietly been about the 15th-20th best skater offensively the last 4 years and top 5 in the playoffs while being a good but not special 2 way C. His lack of love is astounding.
