Pit made it's bed with Jarry and if they change it it wont be for a guy with just a couple years left.

Yeah, I felt I was reaching a bit, but I knew Vegas would need to shed considerable cap space to add Eichel, and obviously they have an excess amount committed to goaltending. I questioned who Fleury may be willing to waive his NMC to go to, and thought maybe he'd be willing to go back to the Pens. (?) Also figured Jarry was on the out with his recent collapse(s) in the playoffs and that Buffalo might be willing to role the dice on him (especially if Ullmark walks). In principle, I think the assets Vegas surrender to Buffalo in my proposal (Tuch, Glass, Leschyshyn, Hague, a 1st and a 2nd) would be very enticing to a Buffalo team that once again seems to be looking to rebuild. Wonder what others think??

If Jarry is on his way out it's only out of the starters roll. Jarry and DeSmith will play next season.

Fair enough. Any input on the Vegas/Buffalo components to this trade?

the size of the package is fine but the only problem (which is an extremely common problem on here) is the first round pick from a team expected to go to or near the finals. If I'm buffalo I say keep Tuch and the 1st and give me Karlsson and an extra second. Buf wants the impact player

Right, just like there was no chance they would sign Pietrangelo for north of 8 mill last off season with ZERO cap space. . . then did just that, then traded Schmidt and Stastny to fit him in. Fleury may not move, but you can bet if they want a player, they'll move who they have to to get it done. Even if they lose the deal.
