If we can get trouba like that I would love to see green moved then for a left handed defenseman I would even use pouliot if possible. This way we have a

yeah i could possibly see that. if you ask me tho, xo has been the best defenseman on the team this season, could probably use some extra minutes. if it doesn't work out then they could be patient for this season and go after alzner in the offseason. or be even more patient and wait for fowler to become available the following offseason.

Don't get me wrong love the kid and have had season tickets with the griffins in the past. His big issue is his foot speed. Tonight's game had a few examples, scary one for me was when evander kane walked right around him

funny, i had season tickets for the griffins for a while too lol. and yeah i see the foot speed. but i think he makes up for it with IQ. really smart in his own zone. and very good at deciding to pinch or not as well as when to get involved offensively. I'm a big fan of the kid. maybe i hype him up a little too much but i think he has outplayed dk, and obviously like the entire team he has outplayed big e.

Vanek won't fetch a first. Maybe a 2nd. He is an unrestricted free agent after this season. Plus, I doubt the Blues make this move considering the need for restocking the farm and questions of Vanek actually being a fit.

Thinking vanek, the way he's produced this season. Without retaining can easily catch at least second and third. With retained and a later round pick could easily see vanek fetching a late first rounder to a team looking for scoring depth.
