Description
The core has to be somewhat broken up for this team to move forward. It's just time. They've regressed and they're completely outmatched by a dominant CAR team. But hey, at least they won't lose to Arizona this time?

I'm sure Bennett's contract would be matched and other values may be off, but this looks like a younger, more skilled team than what we currently have. I wouldn't be opposed to moving Arvi, but no idea what his trade market would look like.

    I think the big names that I would consider moving are one of Ellis/Ekholm, Arvidsson, Jarnkrok, and one of Johansen/Duchene (doubt they could dump both).

    I like the idea of Konecny in a NSH sweater -- funnily enough, I'm pretty sure the pick used on Konecny was initially NSH's.

    As much as I love Konecny and want him to remain a flyer using him as a piece to get Ellis makes way too much sense not really sure what else would be needed

    I mean both duchene and johansen are 2C at best right now, i don't know why they both dipped when they got to nashville. But with Saros playing as good as he is and the average age of your team might as well take a run at eichel. You're built to win now, unless you get that top 1C you guys will be stuck barely making playoffs or first round exits for the next 4 years

    What about something along the lines of:
    Askarov
    1st round pick
    tomasino
    duchene or johansen for cap
    maybe one more pick or prospect?
