Description

If hes born 2 days earlier, he is eligible for the 2015 NHL Draft. McDavid goes 1, Buffalo has a tough choice at #2 but given Eichel had just won the Hobey Baker, I think they could still go with him. After that, its a no doubter that Arizona would pick up their hometown kid to be their future at #3 in 2015. Given he was so young, he either would have still went to Switzerland for a year or he would've played in the NHL but would've probably only been fine to start, similar to Jack Hughes in his rookie year, now Hughes looks really good. I think they still have the picks to get Keller and Chychrun in 2016, but you don't get Schmaltz because you traded strome to get him and you no longer drafted strome.

Think it's no question Matthews would've gone before Eichel. The guy performed in almost equal level to Eichel and he'd be almost full year younger. That potential would've been of the charts.

Not that ARI ending up with Eichel would've been a bad thing mind you.

Az has had its hardships but how can a team not win with Eichel. Buffalo is the dumpster fire of the NHL. When az gets a good coach they will do something.

they have made the finals three times once in 1982 , 1994 and 2011 . None of those are wins. The Vancouver millionaires dont count =)
