Doubt drouin plays. Could be wrong, but leaving during the regular season because you couldn’t handle the pressure just to return for playoffs makes no sense. Plus he hasn’t even been at practice

That is pure speculation, there is NO report that said his reason without a doubt was a mental disorder. The only reason this rumor started was because he shared a link to support mental health initiatives. His time off could be anything from family illness to injury to mental health to alcohol or drug abuse. The team and Drouin himself want to keep his personal life personal. Respect his privacy and stop adding to the spread of rumors.

My point wasn’t to spread rumours. Alcohol and drugs abuse are serious issues that You don’t overcome in a month. They usually say family issues not personal. My point was I doubt he plays. Hopefully he just needs some counselling and he’ll be fine (for himself not for hockey)

My apologies for insinuating you were spreading rumors, it just irks me seeing so many people on here speculate on what is going on with him when they clearly have no idea. Ducharme has already said that it is unlikely that Drouin will be ready for the start of the playoffs but would not speculate on a return date.
