Disclaimer: I'm not a Rangers fan so I took rough guesses at contracts. Please do correct me. Edit; now with Lindgren contract!
Defense and exact line combinations are happy to be changed. Excellent top nine, defense focused on puck movers with the expectation that Shesterkin locks it down behind them. Palmieri can be replaced by any other RW on a one year deal who wants to score a lot and earn a big deal from the market.
Colorado doesn't want to commit big money to grubauer so lets him walk and can use their protection slot on Georgiev, and avoids losing Graves for nothing to Seattle.

I'm sure I'm gonna get Rangers fans in here saying it's too much value so I'm gonna go ahead and say it's actually good value.

Look at karlsson trade as a comparable. Eichel has more years remaining but he's not going to fetch Lafreniere. What else do you need to see?

I think if you swap Strome with Chytil then it's a good deal for both sides. Rentals like Strome in this context don't really have trade value with sellers like Buffalo.

Buffalo can flip Strome to another team for further assets. Obviously Chytil has more value than Strome, but I don't think it's necessary to include him. There's already one elite and two blue chip assets (pick + Lundkvist), plus Barron is no slouch. Nitpicking over Chytil doesn't matter anyway, you said Kakko is necessary and he's there so there you go. Unless LA goes hog wild, and why would they with two excellent center prospects, the Rangers don't have much competition in this bidding war.

Feel free to give constructive feedback, I'm gonna spend as much thought in my reply to you as you did in your comment. Btw Rangers aren't trading Shesterkin for Eichel and if you truly think that makes sense then I worry for your sanity when the eventual trade return comes in.

Lmao there are not 31 teams in the mix for Eichel. Saying a package around Kakko that includes a great defensive prospect as well as several other good pieces isn't a real offer is just betraying your own homer goggles. Best of luck dealing with reality when the return for Eichel is less than my proposition.

That's great. I have no idea what will work neither does Jack.
But I do think BUFF losing him and getting futures back and the promise of brighter tomorrow's to the Mafia is not going to cut it to the people that buy expensive tickets $$$...

As I posted elsewhere:
Two things...IF Buff is going to get rid of Eichel then IMO:
a) They go for it 110% by finding a dance partner/pidgeon that'll take Skinner too, and
b) BUFF is dead last in all things "Goalie/Goals-Against/D-Fence" stat-wise so that'll likely be a major ask back of that "#1G-man Starter &/or #1/#2 D-man"...

No team would take Skinner and Eichel. Eichel on his own is expensive enough that fitting him is a challenge, even if he is elite, so that already cuts the list down to, like, ten teams max. Skinner kills the deal. The return on an Eichel + Skinner deal would be paltry.

You can include Georgiev in the deal, does that fix it? Pretty clear Buffalo needs a rebuild if they're giving up Eichel, so aiming for a #1 dman today makes no sense, they need futures.

That guy is trolling. It is a really good value for the sabres, but the rangers would *never* do that trade. Its the same reason the Sabres are a garbage pail organization; they thought Eichel surrounded by mostly mediocre players would bring success. Those 5 players and 2 firsts will provide more value for the rangers than Eichel ever could.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Obviously Buffalo fans would never be happy unless it's for McDavid at 50% retained, but come on. It's a blockbuster that fairly values Eichel's talents and sets the Sabres up for solid depth for years to come.
