I would put Stutzle, but that's just me.

Not in terms of overall impact. He has tons of points because he's been put in a top 6 role right away, but he's also among the worst defensive players in the league. He's one of the most talented and will be a fantastic player though.

Third worst forward in defensive impact after reputed defensive specialists Ovechkin and Wheeler. You can score a lot but when you get scored on even more, it doesn't make you one of the best rookies. That's just my humble opinion.

Thank you for putting some respect on Knyzhov's name. Obviously not better than anyone on that blueline but has been a solid under the radar guy for SJ all season.

Knyzhov IMO has been stellar for the sharks! He pushed Vlasic and Simek out of top 4 D spots for the sharks and has been a stable stay at home Defensman opposite the “why play D when you make 11.5 mil a year” heartless sad excuse for a D man karlson. The fact Karlson Isn’t a -28 is 100% because of Knyzhov play!
