I think it just makes no sense at all. It's not about value. If Ottawa is able to move Zaitsev, the whole reason you do it is to replace him with a good top 4 vet to speed along the process. Replacing him with Tyler Myers is at best a lateral move that puts them in a slightly worse cap position.
