    Way too much for DeBrusk, I'd do a 1 for 1 trade that would be Bear for DeBrusk, if that's not enough for DeBrusk, I'd do Bear, 2022 2nd rounder for DeBrusk and if that won't make it happen, I'd hang up the phone and stop calling Boston's GM for any trade, DeBrusk hasn't even made it to 50 points a season yet

    Boston wants no part of Bear so DeBrusk stays. Have Kampfer and Clifford to play 3RD at half the price plus Miller when healthy.

    He's passed my eye test when I've watched a few games to make it a consideration (and yes it's still a small sample size)...

    My eye test too.

    Boston should protect Lauzon over Gryz. Todays game did nothing to change that thought. He can stand in there with the big boys. If Gryz is taken you have a cheaper version in Reilly if you want although todays game showed the warts in his game.

    Sweeney needs to go after a top 4 LD via trade since there are none available as UFAs. I really like Oleksiak and I hope DS has enough sense to add a physical D like that.

    A physical top 4 LD is what all teams want, Bruins included. Be interesting to see what Oleksiak gets on the open market. Priority one should be Hall. You can see the difference he has made. Then figure out the D along with Krejci, Rask. Will see what expansion draft and DS brings.

    I want either Lindholm or Ekholm but I might be dreaming.

    I think you are. Could be done but it will be multiple assets to acquire either one. Need those assets to replace the aging core. Maybe DS has something up his sleeve come draft time but he has done well to resist the temptation so far.

    We would definitely be looking at a cold hard rebuild but we might be anyway because these prospects are not high end enough to be future stars. I’d trade a first round pick plus DeBrusk and Vaakanainen to get either one of those guys with an extension.

    Haven't seen a game in a while (working remotely)...but some basic #'s from today on NHL.com are impressive for the kid:

    JL = +3, 8 hits, >6min SH ice-time (filling Chara & Carlo's boots in kill-minutes).

    I think they might circle back to OEL after the expansion draft. It might be a cold hard rebuild exactly for why you say. DS has done well to get here but lots of interesting work still to be done. High entertainment!

    I’d steer clear of OEL. Too much money and too much term. Too old.

    Would want Arizona to retain 2.25M to bring him to a cap hit of 6M. 6 years left is a tough one to swallow agreed. Could you get him cheaper than Lindholm because he has limited where he will go (Boston, Vancouver) and Arizona needs to get rid of salary? How about for Vaak, Frederic and Zboril. Want to keep 1st's and possibly get lucky with them.
