He is starting to come into is own, and long term will provide an excellent option on the 3rd unit - although Isee 2nd line. Has the size to be a useful in front of net presence in the PP. Acquisition gives Flames options.

Boquist will help fill out a reconstructed bottom 6. Although top 6 potential is there, see him as the 30-40 point guy that can provide secondary scoring.

In Gaudreau, Devils so get a dynamic winger who should fit beautifully with Hughes or Hirscher - both of whom we can safely say are upgrades on Monahan or Lindholm. Yes, Flames are giving up an offensive catalyst, but things must be shook up here.

End of the day - Devils get a 90 point winger, Flames get a proven NHL centre with size and a ceiling not reached, an other youngster with potential.... and cost control.

Jackets seek an impact centre, and Monahan is still that (noting I would sooner move Backlund here, but the rwturn would lack). To get a Monohan, there is a price tag. Jacket are in a position to pay it.

Bemstörm has a tonne for skill, and has some sandpaper in his game. Can play centre or wing, and has top six potential. Starts out on the 3rd line, but should play his way up without issue.

Texier will likely flip to the wing. But I an see Sutter using his speed as an advantage in the forecheck to create opportunities. Has a high ceiling, and although his defensive game needs work still.

Gotta get a 1st here (not Adams!), but recognizing the potential in the players here, moving a 3rd is something I do.
