Description
MAJOR Changes have to be made to this locker room, and in particular this defense in front of Carter Hart. If I could pick 1 player who HAD to go, it's gotta be Jake. It's time. You're not trading Giroux, but someone from the old guard has to go.

Anaheim trade is a thought that they should move Fowler now and enter a full on rebuild. Take a risk on Patrick panning out, but also York and some other pieces who would help the team contend in 3-4 years after rebuilding, whereas the Flyers need established D NOW to contend.

I'm done waiting for young players to pan out, waiting for this team's "window". It's closing fast as the team is currently constructed so make some big swings this summer and go for it, sell the farm, take one more shot at getting Giroux a cup while he can still produce

Détails additionnels:
WHATEVER you have to bribe Seattle to take this contract, Ersson solid G prospect and 2 picks enough to get it done? It's not as if Jake is a bad player, but the mix on the Flyers has to be changed and it's going to be hard to find a team that can take those dollars and term

With York being the first pick of the Fletcher era I don't see him being moved before he plays a game in Philly

With Fletcher knowing his seat could be getting hot with another underwhelming year if he doesn't make changes in the offseason and a D corps that showed an inability to play at an NHL level this season, yea I could see it. I hear what you're saying but picks and prospects are just that, can't keep waiting for 3-4 seasons for a guy to turn into a player. They need help now, and if you're going to acquire that help that's going to be an ask. You want a Top-4 dman you're going to part with a top prospect

Their Powerplay is one of the worst in the league. If we know anything about Ghost it's that he's got a bomb of a shot and is a good player on the top of a PP. That was my thinking on that one. If they could have even a 20% PP instead of 15% they could be that much better, does a 3rd/4th line center move the needle, or a legitimate offensive D man, he has looked very good lately. He needs a change of scenery next year and he's showing he can still play

You're right about needing a top prospect to go get a top 4 dman I just don't think York is that piece that's going to be moved to get one. Much more likely that it's Brink or Forester imo

Wikd have been the 7th best nhl PowerPoint team for a while now so you have zero idea what you are talking about
