i made two parts to this and the first part was the trade deadline so i had to copy all the trades on here or else it wouldn't make sense

not in a flat cap world , i think dubas has done a good job this past off season on not overpaying guys

Zetterberg’s contract is insured and only 1M cash (and we’ve already paid ~70% of it). There also isn’t an explanation why Detroit would do it. So given this plus my first post, it benefits Toronto but does nothing for Detroit.

Bennett is a bad centre. Keep the superior Kerfoot. Liljegren will be a Leaf next season (maybe even this season) cause they aren't trading him for a very meh rental.
