I can't see Winnipeg or any team giving up a pick for Coburn.

They could use depth defence, but ya it definitely won't be anything significant...A similar deal was posted in the jets subreddit recently, so I'm getting my hopes up I guess...haha

Dunn and Demers would be nice additions, but I don't see either happening. If you're keeping Reilly you probably aren't making an addition to the LD (Not that I'd rather Reilly over Dunn), and unless Ottawa is able to rid themselves of Zaitsev, there's not really a spot for Demers either. Brannstrom is going to take a step and be a full time NHLer (which he already is imo) and I would imagine Bernard-Docker will be as well.

I look at Dunn as this summers Toews. You can probably get an expiring RFA with good underlying numbers for a couple of 2nds. Sign him to some term and hope he fits into the top 4/5 for a 4 years. Which imo he would in OTT. He's also played RD at times in STL so there's that option for both him and Brannstrom...and yes I realize Smith has an unnatural hate on for that ever happening...haha. I also feel like this year is proof that you can't have enough depth on D. You never know when the youth is going to arrive and if they need another year in the minors Dunn and Demers give you that opportunity.
