I thought you liked baseball? We've talked about the blue jays before. I get their extensions from ownership's perspective... they've done what Rogers has asked of them. Personally I don't think they'll last their new extensions because they won't give up the prospect capital needed to pit this team over the top.

I like what they did this off season though. What are your thoughts?

So you're saying you don't like the jays because they didn't address their pitching, or is that your take on the off-season?

In terms of pitching who did you want them to add? Also, they only spent money this off season keeping their farm system intact so they can still make trades at the deadline or throughout the season.

Yates is an elite closer but needs TJ same with Paxton who a lot of Jays fans were high on. One other thing too add is by not signing a FA pitcher for more than they're worth they are able too see who is doing well when they make a trade instead of hoping a FA signing would exceed their contract.
