I think when you weight the value to cap hit, it’s not as far off. Boston defense looks very thin and Jones is very good. What I put is probably what Edmonton would offer so maybe need to meet somewhere in the middle.

Any counter proposal ideas?

EDM doesn't have a top4 D or top6 W available. The conversation stops right here. EDM just doesn't have what BOS need.

Too risky for the Bruins to include DeBrusk in the deal if Jones doesn't pan out.
