Winnipeg declines. They are not trading PLD or Pionk.

Also, the package coming from Nashville is light compared to what is going the other way.

I agree. The package coming from Nashville is too light to trade PLD. It would take much more to get PLD. Heck I'd even say he is better than Forsberg right now.

How would y'all feel If Granlund was added from Nashville? In what way could these teams get a trade together thats good for both parties?

This is actually a really interesting trade. I agree with most that its a little too much from WPG. They're top 6 is so good, I don't think Forsberg is a need, and it will mess up their chemistry. Definite need for Ekholm, but I'd change it up and pull Pionk (even though he's due for a raise next year), as he's just too valuable to that team right now.
Ekholm for a first, Niku and Perfetti would be a good option IMO
And yes, I have a high opinion of Ekholm.

I suspect the Jets would pass on Ekholm if they had to give up Perfetti. They would probably then try getting Savard from CBJ as a pure rental.
