I love the creativity and the passion from a die-hard Leafs fan! But I really have a tough time seeing how Boston would at all be okay with giving up their top goalie for Frederik Andersen. Considering how familiar Boston is with this asset's (Frederik Anderson) performance in the playoffs, the degree of difference in the division difficulty this year (East > Central > West > North), and the smaller sample size from Rask this year I don't see this being possible. I like the idea of throwing in some minor pieces to the deal to sweeten the pot a little, but none of the players added are supplying enough substantial value for Boston to do this deal. Further, Toronto really needs to focus their efforts on fixing their backend (i.e. Ekholm or some comparable) to insulate their good goaltending (Anderson is top-5 in most stats right now, including Shots Against) rather than focusing on securing a goaltending situation that as it stands is reasonably good. Great proposal though!

Rask & Andersen are both UFAs' this offseason so, TOR & BOS might as well get somebody back

Boston is still going for the cup though. Why downgrade in net just to get a bunch of bubble players back

Yeah I am confused - Rask mentioned he is unlikely to play for any other team other than the Bruins - not to mention the players back are no better than what we have in the system.....so we move a better goalie and get a bag of pucks back as well.
