Palmieri is a 30 goal scorer with defensive upside. How would a prospect that weve never seen play in the NHL and a very low first be enough? Is there something up with him?

Wahlstrom is untouchable. Isles wouldn’t even take Wahlly for Palmieri one for one.

Nothing is up with him. His contract runs out at the end of the season so Devils are considering offers for him.


Chances are he doesn’t want to stay in New Jersey based on their success and his age.

I would understand that if that is the case.
But I do not think Bellows +pick would be enough to get Palms.

Islanders will not trade Wahlstrom unless there is a pretty big overpay. He has 7 points in the last 10 games, he’s been great on the PP. Bellows and a 1st for Palmieri sounds like it’s enough. He’s old and likely not to re sign. Bellows will be a good NHLer.

Lou likes his guys...so who knows. Maybe he wants Palms back.
I'd hope it's Wahlstrom, but it would be a surprise if that happened.
Would rather have Salo, Bolduc, Wilde over Bellows.

None of those players have played a game in the NHL. Bellows has played fine this year.
